Goal
Together with our partner Bonka Circus, we started a strategic total project for Visit Leuven back in 2020. The goal was to increase their visibility. With their website “Leuvenlikealocal.be” they aimed to offer tourists a personalized experience of the city of Leuven. However, 2020 and 2021 were anything but good years for tourism …
Solution
It was a welcome challenge to come up with new concepts and adapt their campaigns in these troubling times. The idea was to inform people on how they could explore Leuven safely. Luckily, Leuven has much to offer: a picturesque city center with lots of cultural-historical options, and plenty of natural, forested landscapes in the outskirts of the city. Visit Leuven helps you to combine everything!
Impact
We completely adjusted the strategic multi-year plan by adjusting where necessary in limited time. Creative thinking was a necessity. We did not just want to reach everybody. The campaign needed to touch visitors emotionally, by showing them everything they could still enjoy in the area – a positive message! That optimism is something we like to share with all our clients.
